Jung.GG is a new website dedicated to analyzing and providing data on the best routes in the popular online game League of Legends. They use Riot approved data from thousands of games played to show live, up to date information for it's users.

Brief

In it's current state the site is purely for providing information with little to no thought for aesthetics and user experience. I joined the team to take the lead on the UI design and communicate with the front end developer in regards to implementation of my new design.

Solution

I started with establishing some basic brand guidelines and brand identity before moving on to taking the website design page by page and exploring options for expanding on more information that could be provided.

Logo: The logomark is centered around the League of Legends official jungle icon. Encompassed in a shield with purple treatment. The sweeping arrow is an emblem of the path that players will take through the jungle. The arrow itself is based on the tail of Evelynn, a well known League of Legends character who’s main role lies in the jungle.

UI: The design is created to get the user to the USP information as quickly as possible. The landing page is a clear search function that travels to the map information with a secondary menu tab that displays other information relevant to to the searched champion.
