Event Concept is an award winning event production house bringing innovative design and technical precision to events across the globe. They specialize in bespoke event planning and production for conferences and exhibitions, brand activations, award shows and media events. Event Concept is one of the few production agencies in London that has full in house capabilities, allowing them to manage projects from initial idea creation all the way through to final production. They are the main supplier for the top event spaces in London which have very specific regulations and requirements for companies to the added to the lists.
My Role
I worked as a member of the in house creative team and the only member dedicated to event graphic design. My daily responsibilities included managing the graphic production on all large scale events, interpreting client brand guidelines to provide innovative graphic solutions for their events. My main responsibilities also included working with the in house marketing team to produce internal and external documentation, marketing and social media collateral and develop the Event Concept brand image.
Experience
My range of knowledge having worked in multiple design disciplines was vital in this role. Being able to interpret 3D event spaces in order to create small and large scale artwork for digital and print mediums was vital in effectively and efficiently creating artwork. Event Concept prides itself on producing innovative and highly polished events for their clients and the graphics and artwork are no different. I learnt to better understand and interpret multiple clients and their brands in extremely short periods of time, a skill which I frequently use in freelance design work when the contracts are short and it is a company that I don’t know as well. Learning to understand how to push those limits was also a large part of my work with Event Concept.
